The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting packages and other assigned items safely and efficiently throughout Queens. This role typically includes loading and securing freight, reviewing delivery stops, following planned routes, confirming recipient information, and handling basic delivery records with care. Drivers are expected to communicate professionally with dispatch or supervisors, report delays or route changes, and maintain a clean driving record while operating company-assigned or approved vehicles. Baseline qualifications usually include a valid driver’s license, familiarity with local streets and traffic conditions, the ability to read maps or route instructions, and dependable time management. Physical demands may include repeated lifting, carrying, bending, and entering or exiting a vehicle many times during the shift. Work is generally scheduled across full-time daytime or early evening hours, with routes that may vary based on operating needs.
