The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, orderly, and sanitary living or work spaces in accordance with established standards. Common duties include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, replenishing supplies, and performing routine tidying in assigned rooms or common areas. The position may also require reporting maintenance concerns, using cleaning products safely, and following instructions for special cleaning tasks or guest turnover needs. Candidates should be dependable, organized, and able to work independently while paying close attention to detail. Basic prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or a similar cleaning role is useful, though on-the-job learning may be part of the position. Physical demands often include standing for long periods, bending, reaching, lifting light to moderate items, and moving from one area to another throughout the day. This is a full-time role with a schedule that may vary according to property or service requirements.
