The Order Picker supports warehouse operations by selecting, staging, and preparing products for shipment with accuracy and efficiency. Typical duties include reading pick lists or handheld device instructions, locating inventory in assigned storage areas, checking item counts and product condition, packing orders securely, and moving completed shipments to the proper dispatch area. The role may also involve helping maintain clean and organized aisles, reporting inventory discrepancies, and following basic safety procedures while working around warehouse equipment. Candidates should have good attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic reading and math skills for order verification. Prior warehouse or fulfillment experience is helpful but not always required if the applicant can learn procedures quickly. Physical demands commonly include standing for long periods, lifting moderate to heavy packages, bending, reaching, and repeated walking throughout the shift. Schedule expectations are typically full time with hours based on operational needs. Compensation may be negotiated within the posted range based on relevant experience.
