A Package Handler supports the movement of parcels through a Brooklyn sorting or distribution operation by loading, unloading, scanning, and organizing packages for the next stage of delivery. The work often includes sorting items by route or destination, stacking packages safely, checking for visible damage, and keeping work areas orderly to support efficient flow. Reliability, basic reading skills, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions are important qualifications. Candidates should be comfortable working in a team environment and maintaining a steady pace during busy periods.
