A Picker / Packer supports warehouse operations by accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced Bronx setting. Day-to-day tasks often include locating items in storage, verifying quantities, checking product condition, assembling boxes, applying labels, and staging completed orders for pickup or delivery. Attention to detail is important because the work depends on accuracy, speed, and consistent adherence to handling instructions. Good communication, basic counting skills, and the ability to stay organized throughout the shift are useful qualifications. Experience in shipping, packing, or inventory work can be an advantage, but entry-level candidates may also be considered if they can learn procedures quickly.
